The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot, and API Gateway, along with proven experience leading development teams in an Agile environment. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and user-centric applications while mentoring junior developers and driving engineering best practices. *Key Responsibilities* - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and Java/Spring Boot. - Define and implement frontend architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, accessibility, and maintainability. - Build reusable UI components and shared libraries to promote consistency across applications. - Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services. - Enhance existing applications by resolving defects, improving performance, and implementing new features. - Ensure responsive and cross-browser compatibility across desktop and mobile platforms. - Champion accessibility standards, secure coding practices, and engineering best practices. - Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, and Backend Developers to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Lead code reviews, implement testing strategies, and support CI/CD practices. - Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to engineering standards and documentation. *Required Skills & Experience* - Strong experience in React.js and TypeScript development. - Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development. - Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design. - Experience with API Gateway and Microservices architecture. - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive web design. - Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. - Strong understanding of software design principles, code quality, and performance optimization. - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. *Preferred Skills* - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and modern development practices. *Mandatory Skills* - React - TypeScript - PostgreSQL - Java - Spring Boot - API Gateway - REST APIs - Agile Methodology Interested Candidates Please share your updated CV along with the following details: Total Experience Relevant React & Full Stack Development Experience Java/Spring Boot Experience PostgreSQL Experience Current Location Current Salary/Rate Expected Salary/Rate Notice Period UK Work Authorization Status Email: *usha@rapdservice.co.uk*
