Job ID: 1479632 Role: Frontend Cloud Architect Location: Sheffield, United Kingdom Work Model: Hybrid (2 Days/Week Onsite) Contract Duration: 6–12 Months Rate: £375 per day (Inside IR35) Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Preferred About the Role We are looking for an experienced Frontend Cloud Architect to design and deliver modern, scalable, and secure front-end solutions within a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in front-end architecture, cloud technologies, and modern web development frameworks, with the ability to define technical strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing front-end architectures. - Define front-end development standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines. - Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, UX/UI designers, and engineering teams to deliver cloud-native applications. - Develop responsive, accessible, and reusable user interface components. - Integrate front-end applications with cloud services and backend APIs. - Drive performance optimization, security, and scalability across web applications. - Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to development teams. - Participate in architecture zreviews, code reviews, and technology evaluations. - Ensure adherence to ,enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards. Required Skills & Experience - Proven experience as a Frontend Architect or Cloud Architect with a strong front-end focus. - Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js. - Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. - Experience designing and developing cloud-native applications on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices, and API integration. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies. - Knowledge of front-end performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and web security best practices. - Experience with Git, automated testing, and modern build tools. Preferred Skills - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of Micro Frontend architecture. - Experience with enterprise-scale digital transformation projects. - Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP) are an added advantage.
